Marc Bircham trains with Toronto FC

Canadian national, and former QPR fan favorite, DM Marc Bircham is in town for a trial with Toronto FC. You may recall Bircham as being the first ever player to score an international goal for a country he had never set foot in, when he scored in his first cap for Canada in 1999.

It is a move that is consistent with coach Mo Johnston's desire to field the best possible team, but with the midfield starting 4 starting to settle in and solidify, it would be an odd move to bring in someone to disrupt that, especially the middle with Robbinson and Edu playing so strong in TFC's resurgence. Could a move to centre back be in the works for Bircham?
